'I'm fully all in with Bayern' - Kane cools on Premier League homecoming

Kane achieves his 100th goal for Bayern Munich

Harry Kane has revealed that his enthusiasm in going back to the Premier League has diminished and he is open to explore a new agreement with Bayern Munich.

The accomplished striker is at the moment halfway through the four-year deal he inked when joining from Tottenham Hotspur for 86.4 million pounds in the summer of 2023.

The veteran forward has accumulated an remarkable 103 goals in 106 matches for the German club, helping them secure the 2024-25 Bundesliga championship - which was the maiden major trophy of his illustrious career.

Tottenham coach Thomas Frank has recently stated that he would welcome to see Kane go back to England, where he needs 48 goals to surpass Alan Shearer's all-time Premier League scoring record of 260.

However, the England captain has now clarified that he is no longer as enthusiastic about returning home as he once was, and would definitely contemplate extending his time in Bavaria.

"In terms of staying longer, I could definitely see that," he stated.

"I spoke openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those discussions with Bayern yet, but if they were to occur I would be prepared to talk and have an frank conversation.

"Obviously it relies on how the next year or so goes and what we attain together. Right now, I would say we are in a excellent moment and I am not considering about anything else.

"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had asked me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.

"Now I have been there a couple of years I would perhaps say that has diminished a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.

"What I have discovered in my career is that different opportunities and different periods happen and things work out. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am totally all in with Bayern."

Historic Achievements and Future Ambitions

Kane is the record top marksman for both Tottenham and England and not long ago became the speediest player this century to hit 100 goals for a club playing in one of Europe's top five competitions, securing the milestone in just 104 games for Bayern.

However, a trophy had avoided him until he won the German title last season.

Kane states that he was not sure how he would respond after breaking his trophy barren spell, but now believes it has made him eager for more success.

"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be natural to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he added.

"But it's given me more motivation to do more and be better. I think I've proven that this year.

"I was curious in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to accomplish in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.

"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.

"But for sure, I pushed myself the other way in terms of being even better, eating even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
